I was excited to make this purchase because my old car had so many scratches on the side of the door from getting in and out and grinding shoes, and healing myself on it . Daily. However, I didn't get a chance to try it because I read the reviews and didn't understand how good the grip was. I don't want to accidentally attach and detach it to my car while it removes my paint. It seems very strong and thick as advertised.
