Review on NIDEZON-UV Resin 280g: UV-Curing Epoxy Resin for Craft Jewelry Production and Solar Curing, with Transparent Hard Glue by Amber Perez

As mentioned by others, the bottle is not completely filled. I used the scale I received today for weighing. I've done a few things with it. The bottle weighed 302.8 g. I weighed the parts made and they weigh 25.7g. I'm not sure how much the bottle weighs without the resin, but I think it's safe to say it's probably exactly 280g. The resin works very well and has an odor that doesn't bother me. The UV resins smelled much worse. I understand that some people are more sensitive to smells. This is just my experience with this product. I would have preferred it to be a little more runny because I had bubble issues and didn't want to use too much heat to pop them because I didn't want to damage my molds. . I don't like using a toothpick because it can scratch your mold, but in this case I used it very carefully. The bubbles were a little hard to get. I use a 72 watt LED/UV dome nail lamp that I also bought from Amazon to cure it. The base is removable which makes it easy to put on resin parts/molds. I attached a mirror to reflect the light. Because my light is domed and the light is inside the dome, I find that the light underneath reflects better because they shine from the top and sides. Please try this mirror idea at your own risk and never look into the light. Mine faced the wall. I placed everything needed for the treatment on the mirror, then placed a light on it and turned it on. In fact, the sensors turned it on when I put the light on it. My mirror is still in the protective plastic wrap, so the shapes were hung over the mirror a bit. There is a large area under the lamp, I was convinced of that when I bought the lamp. Over time I plan to remove the protective plastic and use a piece of plexiglass or glass to hang them over the mirror so the underside is better exposed to the light. The edge of the mirror frame is flat and protrudes almost half an inch from the surface of the mirror. I didn't buy for it, but in the end it turned out very well. It is shaped like a hexagon and measures approximately 8.5 inches flat edge to flat edge. Judging by the pointed edges, it's about an inch larger in diameter. My first layer of UV resin was about 1/16 inch thick, nothing was added and it fully cured in 99 seconds. Curing time will vary depending on the lamp/mirror underneath and the depth of the resin and additives. My first layer was hot and came off the mold when I took it out. The mirror could evoke such a reaction. If your resin is sticky or not smooth and stiff when you remove it, it should take longer to dry. The subsequent layers took more time because the glitter was added. I also added a sheer top. It seemed to require several sessions of light treatment. My lamp has a timer so I had to check and turn it on each time to continue the treatment. In the end they heal. You don't want to over-cure as this can cause your items to turn yellow. I am very happy with this resin. Also, for best results, be sure to use a translucent shape rather than a solid opaque shape. You will have a hard time hardening it if the layers are deep or if you have added colors with an opaque shape. The cleaner the better. I would definitely buy this item again, especially at the right price. There was a $5 discount when I bought it, which was about $22 or $23 at the time. I've been working with resin since 2013 so I know a thing or two even though I don't have much UV resin experience. Maybe since 2015. At that time, UV resin wasn't easy to find in the US.
