These inserts fit very well and help. They also make refilling fluids and replacing flints a cleaner process. They cost a few bucks for a pair (one will last for many years or a lifetime), but if you use, store, and care for a Zippo, you'll be more than happy to have one on any lighter! You'll find that extra flint storage is a very welcome perk! These pads add an element of quality that's hard to miss!
