I don't like to use cleansing oils every day. To me, they tend to serve a specific function that goes beyond general cleaning. I find that they are usually very good for breaking down all sorts of excess sebum, makeup and other oily residue that is on the face and needs to be removed. Plus, it doesn't dry out the skin at all. As a cleaning oil, it is very oily. There's one thing I still have to get used to considering how much of my life I've spent battling facial fat. Seems counterintuitive, but it works. Although I believe that due to the fact that it is an oil it is very moisturizing but at the same time cleansing the skin. It leaves my skin very soft and feels like the start of my daily hydration routine. Although as mentioned I don't like using this on a daily basis as I like to use a few days for a good oil removal which can be quite dry. For combination skin, I always balance oil removal with heavy hydration. This is a good cleansing oil for those who love such products. Also worth trying for those who don't want the dry feel of facial cleansers.
