Memory card fails after 60 days

If this memory card fails, it goes into write-protect mode; Therefore, you cannot delete saved content before freeing up space. I contacted ScanDisk and they asked me to send in the defective memory card for replacement; However, this is not a viable solution if you cannot delete your data. If the drive had been reliable I would have given it a much higher rating.
