Ideal for the first layer of an abscess dressing! Works well. Just remember that the wall will soften as you come out so make sure you glue this channel well. I used that, then loosely wrapped the Vetwrap (cut the Av near the whisk so there wasn't too much pressure on the tape) and then wrapped the whole thing with Gorilla Tape. Works perfectly. You just don't want it to fall off while they're out because then you could get another abscess since the hoof wall is softer from the hair.
