I love this straightener! I tried 4 different hair straighteners before settling on this one. Many of them pulled my hair or just didn't heat and didn't keep the temperature well. There are some complaints that it will fry your hair. I don't know what happened in those situations, but I can say that it didn't happen to me! Since I have fine hair, this bothered me. My hair is long, slightly wavy and slightly frizzy. I just started at the lowest temperature limit and gradually increased the temperature until I found the lowest temperature that would straighten my hair. This is the first flat iron that glides through my hair without pulling it out. Curls hair well too.
