Purchased for use with a tablet on a mic stand to read lyrics in portrait (vertical) orientation. It doesn't work for that - it mounts to the (vertical, of course) shaft of the mic stand, and the very small upward angle that can be achieved is offset by the flex of the holder, which sags under the weight of the mic tablet. I could barely get a 10 degree angle up. I read that another reviewer solved this problem by mounting it high up on a stand, literally in front of the user's face - unacceptable. When I'm singing at a concert, I don't need and don't need my tablet in front of my face, in the line of sight between me and the audience.
