I have a 17 lb poodle mix and an XL. Even then it was damn tight against her shoulders and she barely moved. If dogs could bend she would rip her dress lol. I would measure my pets shoulder length the same way we measure human clothing shoulder length for this product. There is ZERO stretch. I had to buy XXXLARGE. The sizes are ridiculous because they aren't US pet store sizes. These are sizes for small breed dogs so large dogs are not included so this is an odd size chart. Basically, in the small dog world, if your dog weighs over 10 pounds, he will likely be in the XLARGE+ category in this world. She usually works as a medium in a pet shop, but not here!
