Excellent hold. Not waterproof.

We bought these boots for mountaineering. The grip was great. When we were in areas with snow, the shoes let a lot of water through. We had to wring out our socks, dry our feet and put plastic bags over our feet for the rest of the hike. I would recommend them for regular hikes. I wouldn't wear them in snow.

MARITONY sneakers for children, which are a must for wet, muddy and school, when playing at home, in the park, climbing, kicking the soccer ball. This is an excellent choice for a gift to a son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter
