This is a relatively small air purifier. I also have Rabbit Air BiosGs and it's much larger. This Sharper Image Cleaner fits perfectly next to the TV stand in my living room. The base requires assembly, but the instruction manual makes it a lot harder than it really is. All you have to do is loosen the thumbscrews and "marry" them as the manual says. All you really do is connect one of the legs to the other. I have a feeling that Base was an afterthought, although the manual says you should use it on Base. The base feels cheap and you need to position the device properly to make it sit flat. There is another position for him, but I chose a flat one. The feet should be integrated into the bottom of the unit and require no assembly if you ask me. This is audible even on the lowest setting in a quiet room. Sounds like a jet engine at full power. Experience has taught me that if I turn on an air purifier at maximum power, the filter will not last long. Given that knowledge combined with the noise level, I think I'll keep it low at best. I am very happy with the look of this air purifier and it is easy to use. I plan to use it in my home office.
