bought this to cut a mountain bike steerer tube , I upgraded my front fork to a new air fork and I needed something to trim off the excess length , this tool struggled with a 1/8 in thick aluminum 1/18 diameter tube and after 20 minutes it finally cut the tube . Then Tried to cut a steel bike seat post down to size , it took 30 minutes to cut that and distressed the tube so bad it is junk ! My 1st clue should have been when the packaging said " for refrigerant tubing "thank God I had a spare seat post . This tool is GARBAGE and i would avoid it at all costs
