I bought these to attach to jewelry pads and business cards. They just don't withstand any thickness, they break immediately and the pieces fly apart. I like the idea of using them for thinner materials, but if you plan to use them for something thicker than cardboard, don't buy them. I will look for something bigger but smaller than the clothespin size.
