I've had this monitor for over a year now. I mainly use it for games and emulations. I've never seen "blur" issues - the response time on this monitor is surprisingly good. Colors are bright and sharp. It has text, standard, graphics, and movie display presets, and can also be manually set to your liking. I've never used either one as it also has a really nice AUTO switch that sets itself based on what it 'sees'. It's always been good for me. You could spend twice as much and not get a monitor as good. I have a 22 inch monitor on my main computer that I spent $400 on and other than the size I don't see any difference in picture quality! For a 19 inch monitor this is a great buy that works very well. You don't get what you pay for here. you got better.
