Doesn't work, damaged my wall

Attempted to install using the 3M adhesive pads provided. One of them didn't sleep for 15 hours and damaged my wall when he fell. I tried using a screw and the plastic part is useless. He bent down and didn't let the screw go in. I tried again with another 3M pad. This stayed on the cleaned surface for about 2 days before falling off. At least it didn't damage my wall. I didn't even touch him when he was being picked up, so he hit or something and then fell. I literally installed both and plugged in my Xbox controller.
