Review on 🧳 Sturdy Hermitshell Hard Travel Case for Canon PIXMA TR150/iP110 – Perfect Protection with Battery Compatibility by Brittany Chapman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The robust, spacious housing offers space for the printer and additional consumables, an extension cable, ink cartridges and a small scanner.

This bag has everything I need to carry my Canon IP 100 Series or Epson printer except the shoulder strap. The enclosed battery is contained in the cover part of the device together with the electrical and connection cables. Fits perfectly on the printer, non-slip and the nylon strap with snap closure prevents it from falling out when opening. There is a Velcro mesh on the top for securing items. However, it's not loose enough that the Velcro fits snugly against the top of the case. This works when I pack items in individual ziplock plastic bags. Most people will be fine with this as they don't have all the additional items to fill out this section. I need the case on a solid surface so it can be opened if you carry as many items on the case as I do: extended battery, set of ten extra color ink cartridges, larger backup storage unit, extra power adapter and extension cord. All my mobile printers keep the printer in a plastic bag for dust etc. Extra ink cartridges are also kept in strong plastic bags in case they leak (not that that would be a problem) and dust when I'm working outdoors. The only thing it lacks is a shoulder strap - an extra shoulder strap. Available hard case. I would buy another one or two if I didn't need a shoulder strap. It has enough space to add my personal scanners. Epson ES-200 duplex scanner but I'm keeping it in a different case style with an extension. In that case I will also write a review. Basically Hermitshell works well for the price and is comfortable. It's 4.5 stars because the mesh for the top needs to be longer to allow the Velcro to attach to the opposite edge of the case (handle side) for maximum use. Cons: The woven strap can be swapped out for a thicker/sturdier nylon strap to avoid cutting your hands when carrying a full bag on field trips or trips to research centers. Also, it has no D-rings for attaching an optional shoulder strap. The pad for the stylus can be purchased or made to withstand the stress. As mentioned, the body is big enough for an A4 scanner and a portable printer. The price is correct! Thank you Hermitshell manufacturer.
