Definitely a time saver

This definitely saves time. On the plus side, it does an excellent job in places where there's a lot of space. As long as your patch or the item you want to grind isn't around the corner, it does its job just fine. The suction power is good too. The amount of putty in my bag was pretty impressive. I like that there were multiple types of sandpaper so you can always find what you need and changing pads is easy - just Velcro. The downside is that it's not very good for space near corners. If you can't get the area you want to sand in the center of the sander, you probably won't get good results. It's not a piece of equipment that can help with this, so you'll still need a finishing sander/sandpaper or sanding pad. The setup is also quite complicated. Suggest sitting with the device for a few minutes before attempting to use it. I'm glad I bought this unit, but I probably won't break it every time I have to sand drywall. This is for big jobs.
