Review on Kuryakyn 5284 Momentum Road Warrior by Todd Vesci

I would give 4 or even 5 stars but I had to return it. On the positive side, it is made of very good material and comes with a rain cover, has a lot of space and can accommodate a very comfortable long trip, multiple pockets, the elastic for the bottle holder is tough. The downside for me were two things, firstly it doesn't fit perfectly if you have a passenger backrest, it gets squeezed in there with a small gap and will cover your speakers, it would fit better on a bar counter or if you don't have a curved backrest The second and more important aspect is a design flaw in most Kuryakyn bike bags and I don't know how this was overlooked by a company that designs bags specifically for motorcyclists on the road, which is a safety aspect! This bag and many others from the same line have zippers without closure loops, it doesn't even have a zipper but a rope thread, so when you park your bike at a gas station or a snack bar and you need to pedal even if you are only a few minutes from the bike removed, anyone can easily open your bag and go through your belongings when you're not constantly looking at or in close proximity to your bike. This design flaw doesn't make sense considering there's also a laptop storage compartment (not that I'd ever leave a laptop in this bag outdoors). I replaced it with a saddler that hides this flaw in the design. If you choose to do this I suggest a solution that you can either take to the store to change all the zips or a cheaper solution would be to remove the pull cord and attach a keychain loop and then attach a retractable loop to that and you has space in the keychain loop to attach your padlock. not exactly a secure solution, but it will prevent someone from trying to tamper with your bag while you're gone for a few minutes.
