This feeder is easy to use and program, but I just can't adjust the portions. At first I only tried granules of different sizes. I'm not sure what type of fish people feed, but even with the dispenser ajar my 5 inch goldfish gets food per feeding for about a week. I think if it was all the way open it would tip the entire feed tank into the tank. I closed the dispenser as much as possible, then put some tape over part of the hole and it almost worked. I would say that about another +-100% error, however. Sometimes 5 pellets come out. Next 20. I would not buy this type of feeder again.
