Review on ๐Ÿ”ช OLFA 9069 UltraSharp Black Snap-Off Heavy-Duty Blade, 18mm, Pack of 50 โ€“ Effective Cutting Tool for Professionals by Brian Quenzer

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Used to be good, now bad

Over the years we have bought thousands and thousands of these blades and found the quality to diminish after OLFA changed the design but not the part number. This change appears to have taken place around 2019 and is easily recognized by the box of 50 blades being yellow (good) and blue (bad). These "blue blades" do not retain the same sharpness as previous versions. I'm really disappointed that they made this change instead of just downgrading the model and leaving a better, more durable blade in place. See photos for more information on how to identify good and bad blades.
