Reduced noise in my guitars

I used this to seal all the electronic cavities in my guitars and it had a noticeable noise canceling effect. Most of the noise is coming from my computer so I moved it from the right side of the table to the left side which also helped reduce the noise from my guitars. I'm going to try covering a window on my computer case with this tape to see if that helps reduce noise as well.
