My 10 year old daughter needed hiking boots for her upcoming trip west. After unsuccessful searches in local stores I had them reviewed by Revain. Her only rule was that the boots were her size and couldn't cost more than $50. She chose this one! I was really surprised that she didn't go for something pink or purple or rainbow. She said she likes these because they look like mine. She tried them on as soon as they arrived. They run a bit big (she needs thick socks for that) but most of the time it's my fault I ordered half a size bigger than she wears. I thought they looked bad but my daughter says they are very comfortable and didn't even need to be broken in. She's literally been wearing them every day since we got them (about a week or two ago)! It will be great for our trip and for some time afterwards. until she outgrows them.
