I'm so glad I found this and decided to buy it. I do a lot of water sports in the summer, so sun protection is a big issue for me. Mineral sunscreen works well but needs to be reapplied every few hours and also coats anything that leaves very pesky white spots. UPF clothing is way better and one of the best options I've found so far. The fabric is very durable as I have been using it several days a week for about a month. I thought it would be uncomfortably hot because the material is thick. thick but not neoprene, more like very heavy spandex. However, the shirt is quite comfortable wet or dry and actually insulates better than other rashguards I've used. The hood is a great feature as protecting your head is just as important as protecting your arms and upper body. This is the 3rd UPF. I used the rated swim shirt as sun protection and it is definitely the best.
