I had an earlier D1 which we liked. It was a lot worse. It was painful to put on things and turn on the radio. You have to use the small buttons on the back to set the time. The only way to tune the radio is to use Scan. The radio reception was poor so I had to move it to find the right station. The battery was installed incorrectly and when I unplugged it and plugged it back in where I wanted to leave it all the time and radio settings were lost so I had to do it all over again. Needless to say I sent it back.
