I usually buy these starter shorts from Walmart for about $6.88 each to wear to workouts. With good use, they will wear out within a few months or a year. . I bought this three pack two and a half months ago and despite regular use, machine washing and drying they have yet to show any signs of wear. I've also noticed that their fit is better - the starter shorts I run into all the time are too loose or too tight and restrictive - they fit snug enough to provide a compression effect in addition to avoiding chafing and for Support.
