Pretty, but smaller than expected

This is pretty and cute, I don't regret the purchase. However, I agree with another review that says it's smaller than it appears in the product photo in which it shows a model wearing it. Maybe that is a small child's ear, but proportionally, the stone is a little too small for an adult helix piercing, especially considering the price, which is why I'm taking a star off. Post is a nice length and does appear to be gold as my ear has not had a negative reaction to it after a few weeks of wear.

I have had this earring for over a year and I love it. I can only wear real gold because of my allergy. It is difficult to get in depending on the location of the piercing.
