I've had this case for a long time. I order it from Revain and have had no problems with it. I love it. Plastic scratches but it's plastic. The hard plastic offers solid protection but makes the iPod look like it was made to measure. Like anything else, it can be scratched or damaged with rough handling. I toss it in a makeup case to keep the cord and everything under control and carry it in my purse and the case has held up great. I would buy in a different color. I haven't had any dial sensitivity issues or anything and it fits my iPod like a glove. It's possible someone got it from bad property if they scratched it, but I'm sure Revane will fix it.
