Unpacked and installed 2 of these for our bar in about 5 minutes. The seat height is easily adjustable and the seat rotates easily. The width of the foot is not too big and not wide, so they hide well under the counter. Super versatile in your decor, can be used for both an elegant area and a super casual area. Welding is fine and doesn't seem too messy. All foot ends and pits were well protected with foam inside the box. I didn't have to add shims or spacers to the seats like some people have suggested, I felt the seats sat flat and correctly rather than leaning forward. Added cloth leg pads to protect wood floors. They have a plastic leg at the bottom, otherwise the whole chair is made of metal.
