Even with intensive tuning attempts, the panel is not very good. Sure, it's sharper, has more settings and a higher potential refresh rate, but honestly I prefer the panel on my Dell SE2416H. The lack of DisplayPort connectivity is disappointing, but the fact that it has at least 2 HDMI + VGA ports instead of 1 + VGA I think. The TN panel is terrible on the one I have. It's too bright at the same settings as the SE2416H, fading up and down the sides. Changing the refresh rate to anything other than "Normal" in the built-in display settings results in horrible ghosting. The contrast is far away, attempts to correct it only aggravate the situation. Every monitor preset is either too bright or too dark, and most customization features are disabled for some reason. If it wasn't for the condition of the panel I'd say it's decent for what it is, maybe I just got a bad one?
