See End of Update 081722... I got this based on a review on the filler review site. I was expecting based on the review that it would magically remove any odor. It smells really fresh and good and I put all 3 in the cupboard where the tray is. The smell of the toilet robot is largely gone after its cycle, but after a time between use and cycle (set at 3 minutes) it can become very smelly. (Still better than a handheld tray because it stinks until you physically clean it.) A kitten tries to cover its poop but fails. The cleaning robot which I love is my only problem but it's a big problem for me as my clothes are on the other end. It's a small apartment, and that's the only logical place for her. I'm still glad I have 3 odor removal gels for general odors but Febrize works better. I'm just not always there to spray it. Would I buy them again for this specific purpose? Probably no. I'll know for sure when they've evaporated all the gel and then I'll see if it makes a difference. Anyone have a better source? For a bathroom or kitchen I think they would work better. Update: I put the bins in front of my robot's bin bag. I think the move added to the effectiveness of the air freshener. Try it, see if it works for you.
