Review on Luxebell Aluminium Alloy Skeleton Protective Case for GoPro Hero 7 6 5 Vlogging - Black by Leonardo Sandoval

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The shell gives the GoPro a sturdy and professional look, similar to the Pro camera

When my GoPro isn't in a waterproof case I carry it in a Luxebell case. Pros: I usually shoot with a Nikon, so the extra weight of the body gives it a more professional Nikon look. Most long reach extensions ("selfie sticks") are not stable/strong enough due to the extra weight, so I used one of my monopods until I got the SANDMARC metal pole. Luxebell and Sandmarc come with metal clasps so they complement each other well and make for a very secure connection. I bought an adapter ring to use 72mm filters from my Nikon (circular polarizer, macro filter and graduated and variable ND). The flash shoe also allows me to use a Rode mic without the need for any other gear/devices. Cons: I like the moveable/removable back panel, but would also like to be able to mount a clear plastic window. I made my own. Now, to use the Hero 4 Silver's touchscreen, I just slide the plate all the way up. I suspect there should have been a set screw on the backplate, but I didn't have one - that's not a problem as I use the backplate. Conclusion: highly recommended.
