You need to know what you'll be using this camera for before you buy it. You won't be able to take photos that compare to those taken with a contemporary smartphone, as this is basically a toy. If you look through an old photo album and pick one with an indoor or disco scene (low light), the resulting images will be fuzzy, dark, or overexposed, warm, and reminiscent of a lamp, but much more compact. This camera, or older ones like it, is worth a try if you're ready to compromise on image quality in exchange for a certain vibe (retro, vintage, Polaroid). Film and cartridges are expensive, starting at $750 for ten shots. Baby's first vaccinations are priceless, but they don't come cheap.
