I bought these to put on some of the hall closets in a place that needs lighting at night. I loved the idea of these lights with a remote control and thought they would do the trick. And indeed, when I installed and connected them, the result was exactly what I wanted. They provided just the right amount of light for the room and could be easily switched on and off and dimmed with a remote control. That went on for about a week. Then they began to dim themselves, giving off very little light. No amount of playing with the remote control brings the light back to 100% illumination as it used to. No, I had to turn them off for a while and then they seemed to reset to 100%. But after a few minutes they automatically dim again. I don't really need a bunch of lights that I have to keep turning off just to get them working properly again for only about half an hour. Very disappointing. If they worked properly they would be a great solution to illuminate that particular area, but they quickly disappointed. They are going back.
