Review on ๐Ÿญ Enhance Your Small Pet's Fitness with Ware Manufacturing Flying Saucer Exercise Wheel - 5-Inch, Colors May Vary! by Amber Byrd

Good basic wheel - small animals

Edit: Some wheels now have a plastic shaft that wears out as you ride, making it difficult for a dwarf hamster to turn the wheel. This is a great exercise wheel for Roborovski hamsters. It consists of 3 parts: a sloping top, a flat bottom, a plastic base with a small metal stick sticking out of the middle, a plastic lid that 1) fits over the metal stick and 2) fits into a hole in the bottom of the saucer, and of course, the third part is the saucer. It is very easy to wash and care for. It's hard plastic. The top of the saucer has a smooth, bulbous center, and the saucer has small, spiraling ribs from the center to the rim to help the hamsters find a good grip when running at the speed of the wind. The hard surface allows any animal to walk safely without fear of a broken tail, leg or toe. Hamsters tend to fly out of the centrifuge into the middle when they stop running, but this never bothers or harms them. A 5 inch wheel is perfect for small robots to walk on, but I would suggest a 7ยฝ inch wheel for adult robots or other dwarf hamsters. When my adult runs on a 5" balance bike, his front feet are constantly on the top edge of the plate causing him to fall more often, while on his 7.5" balance bike he has plenty of room and tends to fly away only when he accelerates too quickly. Also, there is more space in the 7.5 inch body if a young robot wants to sit in the middle and let his brother ride him. A very lazy guy. Super safe, super easy to clean. I use Dawn, hot water and a special hamster tea towel. Make sure you dry the metal post immediately to avoid possible rust (shouldn't, but doesn't specify which metal it is).
