This item can properly connect and charge 2017 iPad and iPhone 8, Lenovo and HP 3 pin laptop charger. The USB part was tested with a voltage tester and I found that it puts out around 2.2A total, with the iPhone drawing around 700mA and the iPad drawing around 1.6A. And when I charge one or the other, the charging speed increases significantly. The voltage is around 4.6V, a bit low but nothing to complain about. When the USB ports are "fully charged”, a slight hum will be heard from the device, but there should be absolute silence in the room. It also gets a little warm, but no warmer than a standard USB charger. The AC outlets are not only protected against surges, but are also perfectly spaced vertically and horizontally as shown in the photos. And they hold their teeth well too. With Lenovo's charger in particular, it's clear that the thing shouldn't have any problems connecting even the largest wall warts. I added a switch myself to save power and not have to constantly disconnect something from the network to minimize wear and tear. The cable is very long and thick (16 gauge) of very high quality as is the 3 pin connector at the end as it is nicely angled and doesn't protrude from the wall that much. You can plug it into either the top or bottom outlet on the wall and haven't blocked any other outlet. And especially at this price it is an absolute STEAL! Keep it up G!
