I recently purchased this camera from Revain. I paid around $270 when I bought it, which was a very good price when other vendors advertised the same camera for over $300. For the money I paid this camera is amazing. Personally, I don't particularly like touchscreens (I prefer "analog" and "button" designs. Call me old-fashioned), but this camera blew me away. The touchscreen is so intuitive that you can reach every corner of the menu in seconds. It has good prospects, e.g. B. Touching an area of the image to choose what to focus on. In addition, it has creative effects, such as B. Choosing a specific color and keeping the rest of the image black and white: This creates very nice artistic images when you want a certain element in the image to stand out. You can even pick any color in the image and replace it with another (in real time). I tried photographing the pool which was off white and changed it to aquamarine turquoise which really enhances the image without making it look crappy or fake. It's like working in Photoshop in real time. The camera is really small and practical. From what I've read in other reviews, the battery/SD cover is pretty flimsy as it's made out of flimsy plastic that doesn't look promising. The covers for the HDMI and USB ports also look like they will break before the camera's first birthday. However, this is not a rugged and reliable camera to take with you in the rain or on the street, as long as you use it for its intended purpose (parties, at home, in the theater and anywhere you need to take proper care of it - it's high quality ). optical instrument!), you should be fine. Does not require silk gloves. Just don't fiddle with the lids too often. Image quality is good but not great, at least in indoor auto mode (I have an Olympus 570UZ, which I think does the white balance better). HDMI is great, and the real plus is the 24mm widescreen equivalent, which is great for indoor group photos where the small space usually requires everyone to huddle together to fit in the frame. I would buy this again.
