Review on ๐Ÿ’ง Ultimate Pure Blue 3 Stage Certified Filtration: Unbeatable Water Purification Technology by Nick Narvasa

Other systems are much better.

I recently purchased this 3 stage reverse osmosis system and wanted to share my negative installation experience. these problems. * Cartridge holder bracket - no template for screw template, screw holes are hidden under the filter so you can't drill with devices as a template. With the Watts system, the screw holes are located ABOVE the bracket, are easily accessible and can be used as a template. In order you actually need to remove it from the keyhole screw holders. Eventually I gave up and bought Velcro to install it. Velcro $8. The Watts system is articulated for easy access. *The saddle that came with it (1.25?) didn't fit in any of the pipes under my sink and I went to three different stores to try and buy a compatible saddle to no avail. In the end, all I had to do was drill a 3/8" hole, put the tubing in, and secure it with "wet tape" hoping it wouldn't leak. Wet tape, $12. The faucet is too short - another 6 inches would have made this way tighter. I had a hard time getting the job done by moving it uncomfortably close to the wall as the hose exits either side of the cartridge holder. Unlike the Watts system, there is no valve on the corner stop adapter that I could use to turn off the reverse osmosis for maintenance without having to shut off the cold water supply to the faucet. Pipe valve.* Finally, and most disappointingly, the tank connector with its crimp for the 3/8" white hose did not seal even after 3 attempts and continued to leak. I had to replace it with a 1/4 FPT to 3/8 inch shark bite tube for another $6. Yes, I created it correctly. Yes, I cut the pipe. Yes, I checked the diagram to make sure I'm doing it right. If I hadn't already drilled a hole in my desk top and put velcro on the cartridge holder I would have sent it back. Instead of being an evening 1 hour project, it was spread out over 3 days and 4 visits to hardware stores and an additional >$30. At least it doesn't work, it seems to work and the filtered water is good.

Pros
  • Under sink and countertop filtration
Cons
  • Available in white only
