I tested them before giving them to my nephews after building entry-level gaming PCs for them. The mouse is responsive and the DPI setting changes the color of the mouse to match that setting. I wish there was an override to change the color and not the dpi, but you pay for what you get. The keyboard has a fake mechanical feel, but overall typing worked very well, and the lighting was definitely bright enough to illuminate a room with some flare, and they look really good at night.
