Ordered these bulbs to replace the 10 watt bulbs in a fixture, expecting a significant increase in light. Didn't happen. These bulbs were a bit brighter, replacing just one I could tell how it compared to the others. Though it wasn't obvious. Also, these bulbs flicker in my lamp. I don't see it when I look directly at the bulb, but when I look out of the corner of my eye the flicker appears. My wife tried to work in the room but had to turn off the lights due to flickering. Small complaint: these bulbs cast an orange shadow or light, so I have an orange stripe on the lampshade surrounding each bulb. I really wanted these lightbulbs but they were a bust for me. Update: I have found that leaving a halogen bulb in the fixture prevents the LED bulbs from flickering. So I have two halogen bulbs, which together almost maximize the performance of the transformer, and the rest is filled with these LED bulbs. Overall my light is now much brighter with no flicker and I am happier.
