I use them specifically for bike glasses. I usually tuck my lens cleaning tissue under my leggings, so by the time I go to clean my lenses, they're already a little sweaty. This small substance simply absorbs and leaves no streaks. Thinner fabrics just don't fit. A few Tipps. Do not wash with a fabric softener like Downey as it will stain the fabric. If there is sand or other abrasive/grit on the lens, rinse the lens before touching anything including a cloth or finger. This fabric is really good, but it doesn't magically make the sand disappear.
