I love this product. I've probably bought a half dozen or more in the last two years. This is a very high quality product at a very reasonable price. I drop these things. A lot of. I mean I have one for primary use with my laptop and I commute between work and home every day. I probably drop it on a hard surface (concrete/tile floor from my own height) at least once a week and not once has the device failed. Seriously, that surprised me. This device has a USB dongle that can be plugged into a relatively small device. There is a small retention slot in the mouse next to the AA battery to hold it. This is very practical and since the battery compartment has a cover, it protects the USB stick very well during transport. This is a plug and play device. I've used it with Windows XP, 7, 8 and 10. I had no problem recognizing the device for first time use and reuse.
