Review on Satechi Type-C Aluminum Monitor Stand Hub with USB-C Port by Luis Estrella

This is a very good dual purpose iMac stand/hub (increases height and brings ports forward) and the color of the stand matches very good to computer so it looks more OEM than some other stands. The height also seems reasonable, not too low and not too high, but it's a fixed height so there's no adjustment. The USB hub works great and it's really handy to have easy access to all the ports on the front (SD card, USB, USB-C, etc.) instead of reaching out to your iMac and looking for a port which you can connect something. This in itself is the absolute best feature of the stand. The tape dispenser and stapler on my desk used to be on the side, away from the iMac because they were too big to fit under the side of the screen. With the increased height, the tape dispenser and stapler now fit snugly under the side of the iMac screen, freeing up additional desk space. A small nice advantage of this stand. Admittedly the stand is a bit pricey but it feels like it's worth the extra money and overall it looks good and does what it's supposed to do. and you just get used to spending a little more on Apple products and related accessories.
