PRO: The regular ice block shape works well and I would give it 5 stars if it came alone. These molds fit in a small freezer. These molds are easy to clean. The resulting ice can be easily removed from the trays. NEUTRAL: Large squares are actually slightly elongated rectangles with beveled edges, not a pure square. CONS: The spherical shape causes problems and that's why I gave the item (a pair of shapes) a 3 star rating. It can be made to work, but is not suitable for one-off filling. The rubber top doesn't want to lay flat where it "snaps" over the reservoir. The side seals deform and cause leakage. You can freeze half the liquid at the bottom and then pour in the rest of the liquid, but I believe this will leave a visible line on the ice ball. If you don't care about imperfections visible on the ice, this might not bother you. I don't care about leaks, and it annoyed me that I couldn't fill out the entire form in the first freeze round. It's too picky. upset.
