Review on Cable Matters USB 3.0 Cable (6ft) - πŸ”Œ High-Speed USB 3.0 A to B Cable in Black by Devon Holmes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

High-quality, flexible USB 3.0 cable with constant and reliable transfer rates!

After the original purchase, I bought three more of these cables (of different lengths) because I needed a USB 3.0 cable. To be honest, I was hesitant to purchase a Cable Matters product as the Cable Matters CAT 6 cables I own have turned out to be less than impressive. However, the reviews for this cable, combined with the advertised specs and photos, and Revain's amazing return policy convinced me to give it a try. I was lucky because this cable exceeded all my expectations! The cable jacket is heavy and flexible, with some dead weight, but easy to lay due to the high flexibility of the material. Molded connector housings are durable, and the connectors themselves are a tight fit with a latch. They remain in place even after connection. In terms of data transfer, I use this second of four cables I purchased to connect the server to a 1U 4-Bay Rackmount RAID USB 3.0 and eSATA and the transfer speeds are lightning fast. I also use the same USB 3.0 micro-B cable (as opposed to B) to connect a high-speed 4-port USB 3.0 hub to an HP Pro Desk 600 desktop workstation. Again, here are the transfer speeds consistently and reliably fast. As such, I would recommend a Cable Matters USB 3.0 cable of any length or connector for those that require a USB 3.0 cable.
