I make pillar candles with metal molds. In theory, the wick is threaded through the bottom of the mold and secured with one of these stickers. Hot wax flows like crazy. I tried using two stickers covering the hole/wick. It also flows poorly. what works for me Attach two stickers, making sure the wick is completely covered. Then stick 2 strips of masking tape criss-cross over the stickers covering most of the bottom of the mold. Be sure to press the tape firmly against the bottom of the mold. Most of the time it doesn't drip. Until I find another decal brand that is truly hot wax resistant I will continue to buy them. The price is right.
