I bought these pins to keep the skirt in place. The coiled part prevents the pen from slipping out when pressure is applied to it; I noticed that it was sometimes difficult to get the pen through the bed skirt and into the box spring underneath. It's understandable though, considering I basically had to poke a small hole in the box spring to get it in. holds my bed skirt in place. I broke 2 pins while plugging them in, but 2 of the 25 used are not bad in my opinion. The top of the pins is mostly sheer/slightly opaque and over the creamy fabric my bed skirt is invisible unless you sit on the floor and look for it. If you are using pins to hold the corner of something in place, I recommend using 3 or more pins in a triangle shape around the corner to hold the fabric in place (image attached). Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy them again!
