They work great. I installed them in the headliner of a Dodge Grand Caravan that was starting to sag badly. They work, and if you put in a little effort and put them in the template, they look really good. I am completely satisfied. I had no trouble screwing them in and none of them broke. I fixed my headliner problem for a few dollars instead of hundreds of dollars for a new headliner.

Do you have a dog or cat and want to cover a piece of furniture with a blanket or something else? I used them on a sofa and ottoman cover I just bought. The ottoman cover is ok because it fits snugly and I used these things about every 2 inches around the bottom. On the other hand, the sofa cover was torn to shreds. The sofa cover is quite thin, and wherever the cover bends a bit when you sit down, you pull and tear the cover. I mean quarter sized holes in your sofa cover that will not only tear, but stay in the sofa and the cover will come loose. Maybe I just had to use more below, but…

My car is almost 20 years old and has many problems. One of the most annoying was the headliner fabric separating from the backing and hanging down. I've tried all kinds of glue sprays, tons of different glues, carpet tape, etc. and none of them stuck. I live in Virginia and it's hot and swampy humid which sure didn't help the adhesives. How nice to find such good concepts. Note, however, that they are not designed for heavy loads. I wanted to use them to keep the cover from shifting on my husband's chair so I don't have to adjust it all day, but the pins aren't strong enough to withstand constant tension and the coils straighten straight pins and the head goes down. I bought these pins to keep the skirt in place. The coiled part prevents the pen from slipping out when pressure is applied to it; I noticed that it was sometimes difficult to get the pen through the bed skirt and into the box spring underneath. It's understandable though, considering I basically had to poke a small hole in the box spring to get it in. holds my bed skirt in place. Headliner sagged so severely that the entire rear window was blocked. I tried Scotch 77 but it didn't work and left dark stains on the headliner material which you can see in the photos at the top corners of the rear window (and a few other stains). But the pins worked great, and since there were 50 in the small pack, there were more than enough.
