This is a true story I'm sharing at work. For the worker's birthday, we all brought treats, and while I quickly learned that it's best not to take caramel with your bare hands, I still grabbed a handful. The end consequence was that even after washing your hands, a small amount of the candy still managed to make its way under the keys and freeze there. The most commonly used keys started to crackle and stick when retracted after only a few hours of use. I used some rubbing alcohol to clean the interior of each key and the pressure mechanism, which allowed me to finally get rid of the crispy and jammed keys. In a nutshell, you should be able to make this keyboard come to life. Be gentle with it, or else you risk annoyance and unhappiness.
