Yes you can buy a new rotor for anywhere from $20-$50 but this thing has already paid for itself and was very easy to use. GCN has a good guide on how to do this and I was able to get my rotors fixed on the first try. I'm a heavier rider and my disc rotors were failing all the time. Took me about 5 minutes to get them ok and now they don't rub at all. Seriously, for less than $20 any home mechanic would have no trouble having it on your desktop. I might have been a little softer at first, but once you get past that hurdle and realize you can push a little harder than you think, things go great. Just start gently and keep going.
