Reviews about the comfort of the soles made me buy them - and that they were specified for walking and stability. I can't try on the sole because the shoe is unusable for walking etc. I have a completely flat foot with a wide toe (ligaments loose). I need corrective shoes - orthopedic insoles are not enough. New Balance allowed me to run but I have to say they are moving away from structure, support and overpronation which is exactly what these shoes are falsely supposed to address. This is a non-structured sock with a foam platform. I would be concerned about the ankle height of the platform. The sole does not withstand any track, any terrain or even kilometers of grass. Slippers for $164? So this is the new line of New Balance Sketchers not workout shoes. The size was correct. They look just like the picture, a step up from the vinyl models but barely.
